today, i learned about Jamie Livingston, who took one Polaroid photo every day of his life. i have always found Polaroid photos to have this amazing allure. i think i am just attracted to all that is old-fashioned, which is not uncommon. (in fact, this seems like a pretty popular obsession now that life is essentially digital - sleek and pixelated can never replace the hazy and soft.) typewriters, spats and records are other such items that set my heart a-flutter. anyway, i wanted to share this, because the concept is incredibly fascinating yet simple.
